Electrical and industrial control panel design
P1C designs every panel from your application data: load type, voltage, current, available fault current, environment and control method. The design is validated with technical rules before it is quoted and built.
Data that defines the design
- Voltage, phases and grounding; rated current and available short-circuit current.
- Loads and motors (HP or kW, nameplate current and starting method) or an I/O list for control panels.
- Enclosure: NEMA type, material, dimensions, ambient temperature and forced ventilation or air conditioning.
- Control: 2- or 3-wire, Hand-Off-Auto selector, door-mounted HIM, communication network and 22 or 30 mm pushbuttons.
Technical validation before quoting
Every design is checked against technical criteria: conductor size versus current, main protection, fuses, ventilation and consistency between enclosure rating and cooling.
A design that fails stays as a draft and cannot be quoted until corrected; the platform suggests corrections and an engineer decides.
Panel families
- Control and automation (PLC, HMI, I/O and networks).
- Distribution and power.
- Motor starters and variable frequency drives.
- Motor control centers (with project engineering).
- Back panels, harnesses and subassemblies.
- Special solutions and retrofits.
Frequently asked questions
What do I need to start?
Your contact details and a description of the application. Voltage, current, motors, drawings or a bill of materials speed up the review.
Do you build to UL 508A?
P1C is a UL 508A certified industrial control panel fabricator and a UL 891 low-voltage switchboard fabricator. Each project's certification scope is defined in the proposal.
